  1. Participants must complete and submit the registration form before fishing. The Fisheree committee reserves the right to refuse any contestant at its sole discretion.

  2. Only fish caught on Bark Lake that meet WI DNR size regulations and that are caught during the hours of 7 am to 3 pm on the day of the Fisheree are eligible for the contest. Fishing before 7am disqualifies all fish caught. All fish must be registered no later than 3:15 pm to be eligible for the contest.

  3. Fish registration by adults requires a government ID and proof of registration. Children require proof of registration only. Fish must be registered by the person who caught the fish.

  4. Fish caught for the contest must be brought alive to an official for registration. Note: Fish remain property and responsibility of the participant. All fish registered must meet WI DNR size regulations. (See WI DNR Fishing Regulations for size requirements.)

  5. Officials have the right to verify that fish were legally caught on Bark Lake during official hours via tip-ups or by rod and reel. Officials have the right to disqualify any contestant if there is any question regarding the legality of a fish or participant.

  6. Cash prizes will be determined by the weight of a single registered fish. In the case of a duplicate weight, the contestant weighing the fish at the earliest time will hold the top place for that weight. All decisions by committee are final. Each person fishing may only win one fish prize.

  7. The tagged fish prize is a single prize amount that is split evenly between each person to catch a specially tagged fish during the tournament. If only one tagged fish is caught, the entire prize goes to a single winner. If two people catch tagged fish, each person gets half the prize. Etc. The tagged fish prize will be provided only for fish caught with the specific tag numbers planted for that contest and caught during the hours of the tournament. Prizes will not be provided if the tag is not attached to the fish or if the tagged fish was not directly caught with hook and line. All decisions by committee are final.

  8. All cash prizes will be paid or mailed to the winner within seven (7) days of the tournament. Raffle prize winners not present will be contacted by a committee member within 2 days and the prize will need to be claimed within 30 days of the event. All unclaimed prizes will remain the property of 25 Sportsmen.

  9. Refunds will NOT be given for any reason. No fish-related prizes will be awarded in the case of poor fishing conditions.

  10. Contestants are responsible for their own safety, actions and property at all times. Each participant fishes at their own risk, including, but not limited to, driving on the lake.

  11. All laws shall be followed. Any contestant over 16 years old must hold a valid Wisconsin fishing license. There is a 25-mph speed limit on the icebound lake.

  12. Failure to comply with any contest rules subjects contestants to disqualification and removal from the competition site, as determined by contest officials. We reserve the right to revoke a competition ticket.

  13. All contestants and other bystanders consent to the use of any photographs or likeness of themselves to be used in the promotion of our contest, including but not limited to print, radio, or television, websites, social media sites, etc.

  14. Tournament Rules are subject to change/modification without notice at the Committee’s sole discretion.
